However, the Bible gives a more staggering statistic:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><strong>The Scripture declares that the whole world is a prisoner of sin<\/strong> (Gal. 3:22-NIV).<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>However, the good news is that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe (Gal. 3:22-NKJV).<\/p>\n<p>When we are obedient to the gospel of Christ, we are no longer imprisoned by sin (Romans 6:16-18-NKJV; cf. John 8:33-36-NKJV; Romans 8:1-2-NKJV; Gal. 5:1-NKJV).
