{"id":46652,"date":"2022-10-01T02:29:04","date_gmt":"2022-10-01T07:29:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.biblia.work\/sermons\/bible-challenges-bible-study\/"},"modified":"2022-10-01T02:29:04","modified_gmt":"2022-10-01T07:29:04","slug":"bible-challenges-bible-study","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.biblia.work\/sermons\/bible-challenges-bible-study\/","title":{"rendered":"Bible Challenges &#8211; Bible study"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>God&#8217;s Book  the Bible, presents to us the following challenges:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>That it be proclaimed (2 Timothy 4:2).<\/li>\n<li>That it be heard (John 5:25; John 6:45).<\/li>\n<li>That it be understood (Ephesians 3:3-4; Ephesians 5:17.<\/li>\n<li>That it be believed (Romans 10:9-10.<\/li>\n<li>That it be received with a view toward obedience (Acts 2:41; Hebrews 5:9; 1 Peter 1:22).<\/li>\n<li>That it be lived &#8211; Philippians 2:12.<\/li>\n<li>That it be defended (Philippians 1:17; 1 Timothy 6:12).<\/li>\n<li>That it be read reverently as God&#8217;s word (Hebrews 4:12).<\/li>\n<li>That it be read slowly to savor the richness of its message (Psalms 19:9-10).<\/li>\n<li>That it be read impartially for God is no respecter of persons (Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 10:34-35).<\/li>\n<li>That it be read inquiringly because it produces saving faith (Romans 10:17; Acts 17:11).<\/li>\n<li>That it be read and obeyed promptly because it demands complete submission &#8211; 2 Corinthians 6:2; Acts 18:8; Romans 1:5).<\/li>\n<li>That it be read to be followed faithfully in order to receive its glorious rewards (1 Timothy 4:11-16; Revelation 22:14).<\/li>\n<li>To behold the revealed Son of God (Acts 17:3).<\/li>\n<li>To ponder the power it contains (Romans 1:16).<\/li>\n<li>To meet the conditions of pardon it specifies (Mark 16:15-16; Acts 2:36-38).<\/li>\n<li>To weigh the soul it evaluates (Matthew 16:26).<\/li>\n<li>To shun the sin it exposes (John 15:22; James 1:15).<\/li>\n<li>To resist the devil it has unmasked (James 4:7).<\/li>\n<li>To cherish the pardon it assures (Hebrews 10:22).<\/li>\n<li>To make the sacrifice it enjoins (Romans 12:1-2).<\/li>\n<li>To complete the pilgrimage it has enjoined (2 Timothy 4:5-8; Hebrews 12:1-4).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Related Articles:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A Detective Story Worth Looking Into<\/li>\n<li>How Do We View The Bible?<\/li>\n<li>Our Cell Phone Vs.
