The story is told of a Yellowstone National Park ranger who was one day leading a group of hikers to a fire lookout. The ranger was so intent on telling the hikers about the flowers and various kinds of animals, that he switched his two-way radio off because it was distracting.<\/p>\n
Nearing the lookout tower, the ranger was met by a nearly breathless lookout, who asked why he hadn’t responded to the messages on his radio.<\/p>\n
A grizzly bear had been seen stalking the group, and the authorities were trying to warn the hikers of the danger.<\/p>\n
Brethren and friends, any time we tune out God’s message to us, we put our souls in great danger.<\/p>\n
