From time to time, I receive interesting emails from fellow Christians. The following is such an email. It is the senior version<\/strong> of the old hymn, “Jesus Loves Me” (author unknown):<\/p>\n

Jesus loves me, this I know,<\/strong>
<\/strong> Though my hair is white as snow<\/strong>
<\/strong> Though my sight is growing dim,<\/strong>
<\/strong> Still He bids me trust in Him.<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/strong><\/p>\n

Though my steps are oh, so slow,<\/strong>
<\/strong> With my hand in His I’ll go<\/strong>
<\/strong> On through life, let come what may,<\/strong>
<\/strong> He’ll be there to lead the way.<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/strong><\/p>\n

When the nights are dark and long,<\/strong>
<\/strong> In my heart He puts a song.<\/strong>
<\/strong> Telling me in words so clear,<\/strong>
<\/strong> ‘Have no fear, for I am near.’<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/strong><\/p>\n

When my work on earth is done,<\/strong>
<\/strong> And life’s victories have been won.<\/strong>
<\/strong> He will take me home above,<\/strong>
<\/strong> Then I’ll understand His love<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/strong><\/p>\n

I love Jesus, does He know?<\/strong>
<\/strong> Have I ever told Him so?<\/strong>
<\/strong> Jesus loves to hear me say,<\/strong>
