If you have a bad temper, don&#8217;t lose it!<\/p>\n<p>Gossip is something negative that is developed and then enlarged.<\/p>\n<p>The reason a dog has so many friends is that he wags his tail instead of his tongue.<\/p>\n<p>The tongue was intended for an organ of divine praise; but the devil often plays upon it, and then it sounds like the screech-owl.<\/p>\n<p>A poisoned tongue is harmless without a receptive ear.<\/p>\n<p>A narrow mind and a wide mouth makes a dangerous combination.<\/p>\n<p>A religious critic is a person who cannot function until some one does a work he can pass judgment on.<\/p>\n<p>There is no such thing as &#8220;idle gossip&#8221;. Gossip is always a busy-body.<\/p>\n<p>It is better to say a good thing about a bad fellow than to say a bad thing about a good fellow.<\/p>\n<p>One word &#8220;whispered&#8221; will ruin a reputation, embitter a whole life, break a family&#8217;s heart, or even cause suicide.<\/p>\n<p>Avoid the devil&#8217;s dimensions: A narrow mind, a low heart, a closed fist, a wide open mouth, and a high head.<\/p>\n<p>Every time you speak, your mind is on parade.<\/p>\n<p>Someone has said that a man who believes it all right to tell &#8220;little white lies&#8221; soon becomes color blind.<\/p>\n<p>It is easy to find fault; appreciation requires intelligence and character.<\/p>\n<p>For good or ill, your conversation is your advertisement.
