1)<\/strong> The Greek word for salvation is “soteria” and has different meanings, depending on the context.<\/p>\n 2)<\/strong> We are saved from our sins (Romans 6:6-7; Romans 6:17-18; cf. John 8:32; 1 Corinthians 7:22; Gal. 5:1). <\/p>\n 3)<\/strong> When we meet the conditions and terms of salvation, we enter into a right relationship with all three members of the Godhead (Romans 8:13-17; cf. Gal. 3:26-29). Our salvation, however, is conditional, contingent upon our continuing to “walk in the light” (or teaching) of God’s word (1 John 1:7-9; cf.
