Two of them were bored and listless, while the third was happily playing a game on a small portable electronic device. The ad said, &#8220;Do something with your nothing  that nothing time. The time in between everything else you have to do.&#8221; The idea was to sell the portable device so people could use all those segments of wasted waiting time.<\/p>\n<p>Many folks constructively use the small increments of waiting time in various places (such as a doctor&#8217;s office) to read the Bible, memorize a verse of Scripture, or pray for a friend. Its our longer waiting periods filled with uncertainty and indecision that may leave us anxious and frustrated (like being stranded in freeway traffic).<\/p>\n<p>Paul challenged the Christians in Ephesus to:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;Walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil&#8221; (Ephesians 5:15-16 &#8211; NKJV).<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>A Greek scholar suggests that this refers to time in its &#8220;strategic and opportune seasons&#8221; and means &#8220;making a wise and sacred use of every opportunity for doing good.<\/p>\n<p>Thats the wise way for us as Christians to do something profitable with &#8220;that nothing time.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Related Articles:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Making Wise Use Of Our Time<\/li>\n<li>The Importance Of &#8220;Today&#8221;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In a large metropolis, a newspaper ad showed three people waiting for a city bus.
