He even dares to attack one of the Bible\u2019s most celebrated injunctions: \u201cThou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.\u201d He brands this as biological heresy. <\/p>\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0cm;margin-bottom:.0001pt;text-indent: 18.0pt;line-height:normal'>Dr. Selve asserts that true self-interest covers the full range of biological drives, and this includes man\u2019s social nature and his need to get along with other people. <\/p>\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0cm;margin-bottom:.0001pt;text-indent: 18.0pt;line-height:normal'>His solution\u2014altruistic egotism.
