Three sisters, ages ninety-two, ninety-four, and ninety-six, lived together. One night the ninety-six-year-old drew a bath. She put one foot in and then paused. \u201cWas I getting in the tub or out?\u201d she yelled.<\/p>\n
The ninety-four-year-old hollered back, \u201cI don\u2019t know; I\u2019ll come and see.\u201d She started up the stairs but stopped on the first step, shouting, \u201cWas I going up or coming down?\u201d<\/p>\n
The ninety-two-year-old was sitting at the kitchen table having tea, listening to her sisters. She shook her head and said, \u201cI sure hope I never get that forgetful,\u201d and knocked on wood for good measure. Then she yelled, \u201cI\u2019ll come up and help both of you as soon as I see who\u2019s at the door.\u201d<\/p>\n
