Great Britain\u2019s Pagan Federation, which represents druids and witches, says the TV shows Buffy the Vampire Slayer<\/i> and Sabrina the Teenage Witch<\/i> have fueled a rapidly growing interest in witchcraft among children. The organization averages one hundred inquiries a month from kids who want to become witches. In September, the federation appointed its first-ever youth officer to counsel young people.<\/p>\n
A spokesman for the federation said his group is filling a spiritual need, picking up the baton dropped by the Christian church.<\/p>\n
