During a children\u2019s sermon one Sunday morning, I held up a summer shirt that I wore around the house. I told the children that someone said the shirt was ugly and should be thrown away.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m having trouble forgiving the person who said those mean things,\u201d I said. \u201cDo you think I should forgive that person?\u201d<\/p>\n
My daughter, Alicia, six, raised her hand. \u201cYou should.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cBut why? This person hurt my feelings,\u201d I said.<\/p>\n
