The church of Christ is the multitude of all those who believe in Christ for the remission of sins, and who are thankful for that mercy and who love the law of God purely, and who hate the sin in this world and long for the life to come. This is the church that cannot err damnably, nor for any length of time, nor all of them. But as soon as any question arises, the truth of God\u2019s promise stirs someone up to teach them the truth about everything that is necessary for salvation, from God\u2019s word. This enlightens the hearts of the other genuine members, to see the same, and to agree with it.<\/p>\n
