A hug can cheer you when you\u2019re blue A hug can say, \u201cI love you so,\u201d Or, \u201cI hate to see you go.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:3.0pt;line-height:normal'>A hug is \u201cWelcome back again.\u201d And \u201cGreat to see you! Where \u2018er you been? A hug can soothe a small child\u2019s pain And bring a rainbow after rain.<\/p>\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:3.0pt;line-height:normal'>The hug, there\u2019s just no doubt about it \u2014 We scarcely could survive without it! A hug delights and warms and charms; It must be why God gave us arms<\/p>\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:3.0pt;line-height:normal'>Hugs are great for fathers and mothers, Sweet for sisters, swell for brothers; And chances are your favorite aunts love them more than potted plants. <\/p>\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:3.0pt;line-height:normal'>Kittens crave them, puppies love them, Heads of states are not above them. A hug can break the language barrier And make your travel so much merrier.<\/p>\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:3.0pt;line-height:normal'>No need to fret about your store of \u2018em; The more you give, the more there\u2019s more of \u2018em. Everybody feels skin hunger throughout their lives, and unless that hunger is satisfied by touching, there\u2019s a vital void in the emotional make-up that\u2019s going to cause deep unhappiness. We all know that babies thrive on frequent stroking. Well, adults are no different. Hugging feels good, overcomes fear, eases tension, provides stretching exercise if you\u2019re short and stooping exercise if you\u2019re tall. Hugging does not upset the environment, saves heat and requires no special equipment.
