(Hebrews Kabbon’, , in Syriac, a cake; Sept. v. r. and ), a place in the plain of Judah, mentioned between Eglon and Lahmam (Jos 15:40); possibly the same with MACHBENAH (1Ch 2:49). It is perhaps the modern ruined site el-Kufeir, marked byVan de Velde (Map) at 10 miles south-east of Ashkelon.
