Capharorsa

a place ( for ) named by Ptolemy as a town of Idumaea west of the Jordan, and thought by Reland (Palcest. p. 690) to be the Caphararia (or Ceperaria) placed in the Peun tinger Table between Jerusalem and Ashkalon.
