Cappa
is a Latin term for
(1) a cape or tippet;
(2) a hood to a cape or tippet, fastened to the back of the same, so that the hood may be drawn over the head as a protection against the weather;
(3) a cope, i.e. a choir and processional vestment. SEE COPE.
