Carabasion
(. v. r. , Vulg. Marimoth), a name given (1Es 9:34) as one of the “sons” of Maani (Bani) that divorced his Gentile wife after the exile, and apparently corresponding to the CHELLUH SEE CHELLUH (q.v.) of the Hebrew text (Ezr 10:35), although the list is here greatly corrupt.

kar-a-bazi-on (, Rhabason, , Karabason; Marimoth): One of the sons of Baani (1 Esdras 9:34) who had married foreign wives, during the captivity. The name is allowed to be corrupt; it seems to be represented by Meremoth in the list of Ezr 10:36.
