Notes: (1) In 2Co 12:1 the best texts have no word representing “doubtless.” (2) In Luk 11:20, the particle ara, AV, “no doubt,” means “then” (RV). (3) In 1Co 9:10 the conjunction gar, AV, “no doubt,” here means “assuredly,” or “yea” (RV). (4) In Phi 3:8, the opening phrase means “yea, verily,” as RV. (5) In 1Co 9:2, the RV, “at least,” gives the right sense (not “doubtless”).
