[some El’ika] (Hebrews Elika’, , God is his rejecter; Sept. v.r. (Vulg. Eica), a Harodite (q.v.), one of David’s thirty-seven distinguished warriors (2Sa 23:25). B.C. 1046. His name is omitted in the parallel list of 1Ch 11:27 (see Kennicott’s conjecture, Dissertatioz, page 182). SEE SHAMMOTH.
