Gen 2:13, Sept. ) of the name GIHON SEE GIHON (q.v.), one of the rivers of Paradise, mentioned (Sir 24:27) along with the Jordan, Euphrates, etc., in a description of wisdom (as Geon in the time of vintage, meaning apparently the Nile at its period of annual overflow.
