(Heb. with the article hag-Gibathi’, . ; Sept. v.r. , , the designation of a native of Gibeah (1Ch 12:3); in this case, Shemaah, or “the Shemaah,” father of two Benjamites, “Saul’s brethren,” who joined David. SEE GIBEAH 1.
