Haggiah
(Heb. Chaggiyah’, ,festival of Jehovah: Sept. ), a Levite of the family of Merari, apparently the son of Shimea and father of Asaiah, which last seems to have been contemporary with David (1Ch 6:30 [Heb. 15]). B.C. ante 1043.
