(Heb. Chashubah’, , esteemed, a Chaldaizig form for ; Sept. ,Vulg. Hasaban), one of the five sons (exclusive of Zerubbabel) of Pedai’ah, the descendant of David (1Ch 3:20); not of Zerubbabel, as at first appears (see Strong’s Harmony and Expos. of the Gospels, p. 17). B.C. cir. 536.
