(Hebrew Hodayeva’hu, , marg more correctly, Hodavya’hu, , a prolonged form of Hodaviah; Sept. v, Vulgate Oduja), the first named of the seven sons of Elioenai, of the descendants. of Zerubbabel (1Ch 3:24); probably a brother of the Nahum of Luk 3:25 (see Strong’s Harm. and Exposition of the Gospels, p. 17).
