Iron Crown of Lombardy
Legendary diadem of Constantine preserved at Monza, consisting of an inner iron band six inches in diameter, enclosed in a circlet of six plates of gold, richly decorated with jewels and enamel. The iron band is said to be made from a nail of the Holy Cross.
