Jahzerah
(Heb. Yachze’rah, , returner; but Gesenius prefers to read , i.e. Jahaziah; Sept. v.r. , Vulg. Jezra), son of Meshullam and father of Adiel, a priest (1Ch 9:12). B.C. long ante 536. He is probably the same with AHASAI, the father of Azareel (Neh 11:13), since the preceding and the following name are alike.
