Jekamiah
(Heb. Yekamryah’, , gathered by Jehovah), the name of two men.
1. (Sept. v.r. , Vulg. Icamia.) Son of Shallum, and father of Elishama, of the descendants of Sheshan of Judah (1Ch 2:41). B.C. prob. cir. 588.
2. (Sept. v.r. ,Vulg. Jecemia, Auth. Version Jecamiah.) The fifth named of the sons of king Jeconiah (1Ch 3:18), born to him during the Babylonian exile, and, according to tradition, by Susanna. SEE JEHOIACHIN. B.C. post 598.
