JORKEAM.A Judahite family name (1Ch 2:44). We should perhaps read Jokdeam, the name of an unidentified place in the Negeb of Judah (Jos 15:56).

jorke-am (, yorkeam; the King James Version Jorkoam): This is probably to be taken as the name of a town, the father or founder of which was Raham (1Ch 2:44). It may be identical with Jokdeam of Jos 15:56.
