(Heb. Lebanah’ , the moon as being white, as in Son 6:10, etc.; Sept. in Ezr 2:45 ; Chaldaistically written Lebana’ , in most MSS. in Neh 7:48, Sept. Auth. Vers. Lebana; Vulg. in both passages Lebanaz), one of the Nethinim whose posterity returned from Babylon with Zerubbabel. B.C. ante 536.
