(Hebrew Maharay’, , hasty; Sept. v and v. r. v and ), a Netophathite, and one of David’s chief warriors (2Sa 23:28; 1Ch 11:30); being a descendant of Zerah, and the tenth captain of a contingent of 24,000 men (1Ch 27:13). B.C. 1014.
