Mary, Mother of John Mark
Mary, Mother of John Mark
Mary, the mother of John, who was surnamed Mark (Acts 12:12). We know nothing of her; but from the fact that a meeting of the Church was held in her house, we may conclude that she was possessed of some wealth. She may have been a widow, for her husband’s name would presumably have been given in place of hers, had he been alive.
