(Heb. Mispar’, , number, as often’; Sept. ), one of the leading Israelites who accompanied Zerubbabel on the return from Babylon (Ezr 1:2), in the parallel passage (Neh 7:7) called by the equivalent name MISPERETH. B.C. 536.
