Eldest son of Ishmael and one of the chiefs of the Ishmaelites. Gen 25:13; Gen 28:9; Gen 36:3; 1Ch 1:29. The rams of Nebaioth are mentioned, with the flocks of Kedar his brother, as ministering to the prosperity of Israel in the future day of blessing. Isa 60:7.
