Pirathonite, The

Pir’athonite, The. A native of or dweller in Pirathon. Two such are named in the Bible: —

1. Abdon ben-Hillel. Jdg 12:13; Jdg 12:15.

2. “Benaiah, the Pirathonite, of the children of Ephraim,” 1Ch 27:14.
