Comprises north-central Saskatchewan. Founded on 4 June 1891 as the Vicariate Apostolic of Saskatchewan. Elevated to the Diocese of Prince Albert on 2 December 1907. Name changed to the Diocese of Prince Albert-Saskatoon on 30 April 1921. Territory split and name changed by to the Diocese of Prince Albert on 9 June 1933. Suffragen of the archdiocese of Regina.
