(Heb. Ramyah’, , fixed of Jehovah Sept. ), an Israelite of the sons of Parosh, who divorced his Gentile wife under the influence of Ezra (Ezr 10:25). B.C. 458.

The form of the name in 1 Esdras (9:26), Hiermas, presupposes a Hebrew form yeremyah or possibly yirmeyah = Jeremiah.
