Suffice, Sufficient

“to suffice,” is rendered “is sufficient” in Joh 6:7; 2Co 12:9; “it sufficeth” in Joh 14:8. See CONTENT, ENOUGH.

“to make sufficient, render fit,” is translated “made (us) sufficent” in 2Co 3:6, RV (AV, “hath made … able”). See ABLE, B, No. 6, Note.
