Tan
The opposite of ‘grossness’; remaining detached from all outside things, the climax of fineness. It is to have in oneself no contraries; the climax of purity, in the sense of ‘un-mixedness’. (Chuang Tzu, between 399 and 295 B.C.). — H.H.
