Tharra
thara (, Tharra): One of the two eunuchs, keepers of the court, who with his companion Gabatha (Bigthan) formed a conspiracy against King Artaxerxes which was detected by Mordecai (Additions to Esther 12:1 = Teresh of Est 2:21; Est 6:2). Tharra and his companion were hanged. Josephus (BJ, II, vi, 4) calls him Theodestes.
