signifies (a) “there,” e.g., Mat 2:13, frequently in the Gospels; (b) “thither,” e.g., Luk 17:37; in Rom 15:24, “thitherward.”
properly, “thither,” signifies “there” in Act 21:3; Act 22:5. In the Sept., Job 39:29.
“thence,” is rendered “there” in Act 20:13. See THENCE.
“here, hither,” is rendered “there” in Act 10:18. See HERE, HITHER.
the genitive case, neuter, of autos, he, lit., “of it,” is used as an adverb, “there,” in Act 18:19; Act 21:4 (in some texts in Act 15:34). See HERE.
