Psa 5:9 (a) The picture is that of an open grave from which a terrible stench arises. The filthy talk that comes from many mouths is certainly offensive to every decent person. (See Rom 3:13).
Pro 23:2 (b) It represents the appetite or the desire to eat which should be controlled. The Lord does not want us to be gluttons.
