(German aesthetische Urteilskraft) The power of judgment exercised upon data supplied by the feeling or sense of beauty. Kant devotes the first half of the Critique of Judgment to a “Critique of Aesthetic Judgment.” (See Kantianism and Feeling.) — O.F.K.
