(Heb. Arnan’, , nimble; Sept. ), the great-grandson of Zerubbabel (1Ch 3:21). He is probably the same with Christ’s maternal ancestor Joanna, in Luk 3:27 (see Strong’s Harmony and Exposition, p. 17). B.C. considerably post 536.
