(), given in 1Es 5:33, as the first named of the family heads of the sons of Solomon’s servants that returned from Babylon; apparently meaning the SOPHERETH SEE SOPHERETH (q.v.) of the genuine text (Ezr 2:55), where the Hebrews has the article, , has-Sophereth.
