Beth-Azmaveth
Beth-azmaveth
(Heb. Beyth-Azma’veth, , house of Azmaveth; Sept. v.r. ), a village of Benjamin, the inhabitants of which, to the number of forty-two, returned with Zerubbabel from Babylon (Neh 7:28). In Neh 12:29; Ezr 2:24, it is called simply AZMAVETH SEE AZMAVETH (q.v.).
