Cognoscendum

(pl. cognoscenda) (Lat. cognoscere, to know) The object of a cognition. Cognoscenda may be

real and existent e.g. in veridical perception and memory;

abstract and ideal e.g. in conception and valuation;

fictitious, e.g. in imagination and hallucination.
