Crucify

Rom 6:6 (b) This expression is used to impart the wonderful truth that when the sinner believes GOD, confesses his need, and trusts in the Lord JESUS CHRIST, GOD reckons that he died with CHRIST on the Cross, and therefore has been punished in the person of CHRIST for his sins.

Gal 5:24 (b) Here the word indicates an act in the mind and heart of the Christian wherein he lays aside and refuses to obey the sinful desires that arise within him.
