Epenetus
EPENETUS
Saluted by Paul in his epistle to Rome, 1Ch 16:5, and called “the firstfruits of Achaia,” that is, one of his first converts there. Many manuscripts and versions read Asia instead of Achaia.

Epenetus
Epenetus, a Christian resident at Rome when Paul wrote his Epistle to the Church in that city, and one of the persons to whom he sent special salutations (Rom 16:5). In the received text he is spoken of as being ‘the first fruits of Achaia;’ but ‘the first fruits of Asia’ is the reading of another MSS.
