EPITASIS
EPITASIS is, when to a word or enunciation already set forth, there is added in the following enunciations, or in the continuation of the discussion, some emphatic increase, or any sort of explanation: e.g.-Mar 10:43, ; Mar 10:44, . The sense is here again, , but there is added the Epitasis, viz. .-Act 7:5, -there is added the Epitasis, .-2Co 3:5-6, ; there is added the Epitasis, .
