Days when the law of fasting is in force, namely: ember days , the vigils of Pentecost, the Assumption , All Saints , and Christmas , and all days of Lent up to noon of Easter Saturday. The law never binds, however, on Sundays nor on feast-days of precept (except feast-days in Lent).
